Who unfollowed me on Instagram
Instagram doesn't offer any official way to verify your followers. So while I can see the number of followers on my Instagram profile going down, I don't know who abandoned me on Instagram.
Currently there are plenty of third party apps to see who is following you on Instagram. These serve as Instagram trackers for subscribers and non-subscribers, giving you a quick snapshot of who thinks your posts are no longer worth viewing.
The problem with third-party Instagram apps
While these apps are the easiest way to find out who has abandoned you on Instagram, they come with their own set of issues. Instagram's API severely limits what unofficial developers can do.
For example, with all of these apps, you will only see data from when you first download the app. From the moment you set it up, it tracks all changes made to your accounts. But if you lost subscribers before installing the app, you won't see any.
These apps are also not authorized by Instagram, which means your account security may be at risk. You expose yourself to data breaches, the application being sold to a malicious person and other such risks.
Additionally, these apps can stop working at any time because Instagram has a habit of changing its API or rules without any warning. In the past, several good third-party apps have been shut down due to Instagram's changing rules, including unfreegram, which was one of the best Instagram unsubscribe apps.
As long as you know about these potential flaws and risks, you can keep using these apps to find out who has abandoned you on Instagram.
Followmeter (Android, iOS): the easiest and best application
I've tried a variety of apps to find out who left me, and Followmeter is my favorite. The setup process is easy, the interface is straightforward, and the unsubscribe functionality is completely free with no gaps. Again, this will only work from setup point, so you won't be able to discover old unsubscribes.
The dashboard displays followers, new followers, accounts you follow that don't follow you, and accounts that follow you but you don't follow them. Tap the Followers tab for a full list of people who have abandoned you on Instagram.
The Follower list displays individual accounts, as well as whether or not you are following them. Tap and the account to open it on Instagram, where you can message or unsubscribe them.
Followmeter has premium features for finding ghost followers (i.e. inactive users and prowlers), top admirers, etc. These require a payment of $ 3.99, but the free version does not limit the unfollower functionality in any way.
Other apps to find out "Who abandoned me?"
In addition to Followmeter and Reports +, I tested a few other free apps for Instagram followers. Here is a quick list of those that have worked well.
